Surrogacy

Surrogacy refers to an arrangement whereby a woman carries a pregnancy for another woman/couple who is/are the intended parent(s) of the resulting child.

The woman carrying the pregnancy may be genetically linked to the resulting child (traditional surrogacy) or not genetically linked (gestational surrogacy).
